Q

How does the coach play a kind of leader during the session?

A

By establishing the ritual to the beginning of every session and focusing on what’s going well. Sometimes the coach will need to re focus the client when negativity comes to the surface. The coach always has to maintain and make clear again the client’s vision for themselves.

What does the MOFO essentially become for the client during the 90 program?

A

It becomes the value system or vow from which to make choices. (On a scale from 1-10, the MOFO should be at least at an 8). The MOFO helps create positive feelings with making healthy choices.

Q

What is an anchor?

A

It is something physical in the client’s environment that serves as a reminder to why it is important for them to make the change. It should prompt a positive feeling, and helps to keep the client on track when the coach is not around to hold them accountable.

Q

How many action steps should the coach help the client establish in a session?

A

1-3 so the client is not overwhelmed. You want to keep it simple so you’re setting them up for success in the first week.

17

Why is it important for the client to repeat back their action steps to the coach?

A

This allows space for the client to step up and take responsibility for her actions.
