A

Anti TTG antibodies

Anti-endomysial antibodies

  • check for IgA deficiency before testing for antibodies

What exclusiosn need to be made before coeliac is confirmed?

A

Exclude gastroenteritis (stool sample) and crohn’s (faecal calprotectin).

How to manage coeliac disease?

A
  • Gluten Free Diet → avoid wheat, rye and barley.
  • Annual Review → check height, weight, and BMI.

Review symptoms and adherance to diet.
