Luke 17:21 (NRSV)
“[21] Nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ For, in fact, the kingdom of God is among you.”
The Kingdom of God is within us. God has poured His love into our hearts, by the Holy Spirit, so everything is on the inside. However, I must activate my emotions by speaking the Word of God. When I read the Bible, it’s just information, but when I sit and meditate on the Word of God, it becomes flesh in me.
Luke 10:19 (NRSV)
“[19] See, I have given you authority to tread on snakes and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing will hurt you.”
We are here, everywhere we go, God sends us an assignment. Just like as before, we were in the darkness, speaking and doing wrong things. God knows that we have a good heart. God wants us to bring knowledge and understanding to others. God has given us the authority not to be conformed, not to be a part of it, but you are there to transform.
Luke 10:20 (NRSV)
“[20] Nevertheless, do not rejoice at this, that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
Everything in heaven has your name on it. You must walk in love, change your mindset and believe what God has done for you. Believe what Jesus did for you and follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit who guides you, shapes you, and moulds you to become more like Jesus, to think like Jesus. That is why we say, “We have the mind of Christ.” Look at Christ Jesus and His Word, there are no negative words.
