Galatians 5:22 (NRSV)
“[22] By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness.”

Anything else is not from God. So, the moment the thoughts come into my mind and say that A is violent. I need to tell that thought that this is not from God and this is from the devil. You need to tell the devil that these are not my thoughts and this is not from God. Just like Jesus says in Matthew 16:23. So what do you do? You must captivate those thoughts, bind them, and cast them out.
