What are the 2 most important buildngs for the Jews?
- Synagogue: It used as a place for assembly or meeting. It was centered on worship, prayer and study of the Torah.
- Temple: Seen as the house of God, where He lived. The temple was used for storing and sending off taxes which were collected on behalf of Rome.
The Temple was more political than religious.
What are the different Jewish Festivals?
Passover: Celebrates the deliverance from Egypt.
Atonement: A moment of national repentance and fasting
Hanukkah: Marks the rededication of the temple in 164 B.C.E by Judas Maccabeus
Purim: It commemorates the deliverance of the Jews in the time of Esther.
Feast of Tabernacles: Celebration remembering the wilderness journeys of the Isrealites when they lived in Tabernacels, booths, tents.
Rosh Hashanna: Celebrates the beginning of the Jewish civil year.
Pentecost/Feast of Weeks (Shavuot): Celebrates the first wheat harvests and the giving of the law to Moses at Sinai.

- Monday: The Cleansing of the Temple ( Jesus cursed a Fig Tree because it didnt bear fruit which represents the judgement on the religious leaders of Isreal for rejecting the Messiah)
- Tuesday: The Mount of Olives
- Wednesday
- Thursday: The Last Supper
(Judas betrayed Jesus as well) - Friday: Trial Crucifixion, Death, and Burial
- Saturday: Jesus rest in the Tomb
What is Via Dolorosa?
Translated to: Sorrowful Way or Way of Suffering
It is a route through the Old City of Jerusalem that is believed to be the path Jesus walked to his crucifixion.

—The Price He had paid for our freedom was His death on the Cross. - Reconciliation: It describes relationship with people
