When and where was Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) born, and who named him?
- Prophet Muhammad was born on 12th Rabi ul Awwal 570 AD. His father Abdullah had died before his birth.
- His mother Aamina named him Ahmed, and his grandfather Abdul Muttalib named him Muhammad.
Who was entrusted with the Prophet’s upbringing according to Arabian custom, and what blessings did her family experience?
- The Prophet’s upbringing was entrusted to Halima Saadia from the tribe of Banu Sa’ad.
- Great blessing and good fortune surrounded Halima and her family as long as he stayed with them, and they were never short of food.
Why did the Prophet return to Banu Sa’ad after being brought back to his mother, and what did he learn there?
- Due to an epidemic in Makkah, his mother sent him back with Halima to Banu Sa’ad, where he remained for five years.
- He learned the pure Arabic dialect and said, “Verily I am the most perfect Arab amongst you; my descent is from Quraish and my tongue is the tongue of the Banu Sa’ad.”

- When he was about five years old, Angel Gabriel came with Angel Mikael, and his chest was opened.

- Before his death, Abdul Muttalib entrusted Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) to his son Abu Talib.

- At the age of twelve, he accompanied Abu Talib on a trade journey to Syria.
- Near Basra, he met Bahira, a Christian monk, who noticed signs of prophethood and warned Abu Talib to protect him from Jews in Syria. Abu Talib then returned to Makkah.
What role did the Prophet play in Harb ul Fijar, and at what age?
During Harb ul Fijar, a sacrilegious war between Quraish and Hawazin, the Prophet, at age 15, did not fight but helped by picking up stray arrows and giving them to his uncles.

- The Prophet attended the meeting with his uncle Zubair bin Abdul Mutlib, supported its objectives, and later said, “I was present in the house of Abdullah bin Judan at so excellent a pact that I would not exchange my part in it for a herd of red camels…”

- The Prophet was known as “Sadiq” (the Truthful) and “Ameen” (the Trustworthy) for his honesty and truthfulness.
- His business partner, Hazrat Sa’ad, testified to his honesty and fairness in dealings.
Describe the circumstances of Prophet Muhammad’s marriage to Khadijah.
- Khadijah, impressed by his honesty, proposed to the Prophet through her cousin Nafeesa.
- He accepted after consulting his uncle.
- At the time of marriage in 595 AD, he was 25, and Khadijah was 40. They were blessed with four daughters and two sons who died in infancy
How did Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) resolve the dispute over placing the Black Stone?
- At age 35, during the rebuilding of the Kaaba, he resolved the dispute by placing the Black Stone in a sheet and asking leaders to lift it, then he deposited it in its place, preventing a crisis.
Describe the Prophet’s practice of meditation and his first revelation.
- Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) often meditated in the Cave of Hira.
- In 610 AD, during Ramadan, Angel Jibrael appeared to him there, revealing the first five verses of Surah Alaq, making him a prophet at the age of 40.
