- The Quran is the most reliable source of legal thinking in Islam, as it says, “Verily this Quran guides to which is most right”

- It contains a set of legal commands which are the basis of Islamic law and which concern the life of human being in every detail.
- “Blessed is He Who sent down the Criterion to His servant, that it may be an admonition to all creatures” (25:1).
