Linea Alba
White fascia creating a separation between the two rectus abdominus walls. Contributed into by fascia of external oblique, internal oblique, transversus abdominus, and transversalis fascia
Borders of inguinal triangle
Inferior epigastric artery, inguinal ligament, rectus abdominus
Direct Hernia
Happens inside the triangle, through the fascia. Happens mostly in adults due to weak abdominal wall
Indirect Hernia
Comes through the inguinal canal/spermatocord; results from failure of fetal closure of tunica vaginalis
Covering of Spermatocord
- Tunica Vaginalis (periteneum) 2. Extraperiteneal fat 3. Internal Spermatic fascia (fascia transversalis) 4. Cremasteric M. and Fascia (internal oblique) 5. External spermatic fascia (external oblique) 6. Dartos M. 7. skin

Contents of spermatocord
Testicular artery, Cremasteric Artery and vein, ductus deferens, artery to ductus deferens, lymphatic drain, the genital branch of the genito-femoral nerve, the pampiniform plexus of veins, sympathetic and visceral afferent nerve fibers
