What is leadership?

What is task-oriented leadership?
- pursued goals and performance attainment
- more suitable when leaders have high situational control
What is relationship-oriented leadership?
- maximizes quality of relationships among those being led
- more suitable when leaders have moderate levels of situational control

- laissez-faire leadership
- transactional leadership
- transformational leadership
What is laissez-fair leadership?
- indifference, hesitancy to make decisions.
- non-leadership i.e. coach being disengaged
