KSQR-Design part 2 Flashcards
Who is deemed knowledgeable when performing load out volumes as well as additive calculations?
This should be someone who is familiar with the load out volumes and add calculations as well as has some sort of ownership of the job (Job Supervisor, Engineer..) It should not be done by the new greenhat without a mentor checking on the work performed. It should also be done in such a way that “clear-evidence” is placed in the job packet.
In your district, how are slurry volumes and additive calculations verified prior to job loadout?
- Check FracCADE or Wellbook numbers by hand or against the mass balance (or vice versa)
- Peer review
You are going on a job that requires a blended additive such as a crosslinker, how do you verify that this was done properly?
- Verify the paperwork from the bulk-plant (MSDS, TC Coded paperwork, etc..)
- Visually check the paperwork with the actual load (review blending sheets if available)
- Again, need to have clear evidence in the job packet that the proper procedures were used.
