Observe palmar and dorsal aspect for swellling or disformaties

Assess fine pinch
Squeeze mcps (watch face)
Elbows ask to extend them
Ask patient to put hands on head (examining shoulders)
LEGS GALS
Knees
Extend knee
Feel for crepitus
Perform patellar tap
Assess internal rotation with hip and knee flexed at 90 degrees
Feet
Inspect feet for swelling ,deformity and callosities
Squeeze MTPs
SPINE GALS
Stand patient up and look side and back
Assess lateral flexion neck
Can include jaw movements
Check flexion and extension (touch toe)
