What are the spaces in the body that contains organs?
body cavities
Where is the dorsal cavity located?
near the back
Where is the ventral cavity located?
near the front
What organs are located in the thoracic cavity?
the lungs, heart, major blood vessels, part of the esophagus
What organs are located in the abdominopelvic cavity?
the stomach, intestines, pancreas, liver, spleen, gallbladder, kidneys
What organs are located in the lower abdominopelvic cavity (pelvic cavity)?
bladder, urethra, reproductive organs, parts of the large intestine, rectum
