An incident or crime involving violence, threats of violence, intimidation, coercion or abuse( including psychological, physical, sexual, financial or emotional abuse)

Difference between arranged and forced marriage
Arranged- consent but family takes the lead
Forced- one or both parties do not consent
Define Forced marriage
A marriage conducted without the valid consent of both parties, where duress is a factor

A person commits an offence if he or she
Uses violence, threats or any other force of coercion for the purpose of causing another person to enter into a marriage & believe or ought to reasonably believe that the conduct may cause the other person to enter into the marriage without free & full consent
