Any structure that has 5 or more floors above grade, with enclosed stairwells and hallways
What shall the first arriving officer state as part of their initial size up at a high rise fire?
That high rise procedures will be in effect

On-scene report; consider additional alarma
Entire crew will compose 1st attack team
-Locate fire and begin fire attack
Leave appropriate space for truck
2nd due engine on high rise fire
2nd attack team
Search immediate area
Engineer:
-Supply FDC/Suppression system and WS if close
3rd due engine on high rise fire
Ensure WS
Supply FDC/Suppression system if not done
Officer to establish lobby control/systems and accountability
Coordinate EVAC (2nd due rescue to assist)
1st due rescue on high rise fire
Join attack 1
1st due truck on high rise fire
Position for aerial ops
FE
Primary search
4th due engine on high rise fire
Check for extension floor above fire
Check for extension on top floor
2nd due rescue on high rise fire
Report to lobby control/Systems officer to begin EVAC

Establish or assume IC
