A
Body adapts to lack of oxeygen to produce more red blood cells(increases aerobic capacity)
Work at higher intensity for longer
Increases cardiovascular endurance

DSV high altitude training?
A
Individual may find it hard at the start to manage with reduced 02(altitude sickness/nausea)
Takes months to establish aerobic capacity , then is lost when returned to normal training environment.
Does not improve anaerobic fitness
Expensive to travel
