Define Normal Grief?
A
Recognisable sequence of stages that lasts for up to 2 years

What are the sequence of event with regards to normal grief? (6)
A
Shock and disbelief – w/ autonomic arousal but without psychological fear
Anger – at being deserted by deceased relative
Guilt and self-blame – for not doing more
Searching and pining – vivid dreams that dead person is still alive
Sadness and despair – depressive symptoms e.g. poor sleep, appetite etc.
