ex: increase in cholesterol and decrease in bile salts - Bile stasis

Cholesterol 80% - bile and cholesterol

Diagnosis
often confused with MI Hx, Px US CT MRI
Treatment
pain relief
Drugs: actigall - dissolve the stone
Surgery: retrograde endoscopy
Treat complications: cholecystitis, pancreatitis dt perforation of the duct
