Jin Suo Gu JIng Wan
Ingredients:
Sha Yuan Zi (Chao) (60g), Qian Shi (60g), Lian Zi (150g), Lian Xu (60g), Long Gu (su zhi) (30g), Mu Li (30g)
Functions:
Stabilize the kidney, binds up essence.
Indications:
Spermatorrhea syndrome
Chronic spermatorrhea without sexual dreams, impotence, fatigue and weakness, lower back pain, tinnitus, and soreness and weakness of lower back and limbs.
Tongue: pale, white coating
Pulse: thin, frail
Clinical applications:
1. Used for spermatorrhea due to kd qi xu causes inability to stabilize the essence.
2. Used for spermatorrhea, premature ejaculation, chronic prostatitis, and myasthenia gravis.
Modifications:
For constipation with dry stool = add Shu Di, Rou Cong Rong
For diarrhea = add Tu Si Zi, Wu Wei Zi
For soreness of lower back & knees = add Du Zhong, Xu Duan
C/C:
Damp-heat in LJ
Sang Piao Xiao San
Ingredients:
Sang Piao Xiao (30g), Long Gu (30g), Gui Ban (su zhi) (30g), Ren Shen (30g), Fu Shen (30g), Shi Chang Pu (30g), Yuan Zhi (30g), Dang Gui (30g)
Functions:
Regulates and tonifies the HT & KD, stabilizes the essence and stops leakage.
Indications:
HT and KD deficiency syndrome
Frequent urination, turbid urination (like rice water color - grey and cloudy), incontinence, spermatorrhea, disorientation, or forgetfulness.
Tongue: pale, white coating
Pulse: thin, slow, frail
Clinical applications:
1. Used for problem between shen (HT) and Zhi (KD) deficiency, key symptoms are frequent urination, enuresis, spermatorrhea, childhood enuresis.
2. Used for diabetes, neurosis, and postpartum incontinence.
Modifications:
For severe KD yang xu with cold = Fu Zi, Rou Gui

Shou Tai Wan
Ingredients:
Tu Si Zi (120g), Sang Ji Sheng (60g), Xu Duan (60g),
E Jiao (60g)
Function:
Stabilizes KD and calms fetus
Indication:
KD qi xu with unstable fetus syndrome
Soreness and distention of the lower abdomen, vaginal bleeding during pregnancy and other signs and symptoms include dizziness, tinnitus, weakness of the legs, and frequent urination to the point of incontinence.
Tongue: pale, white slippery coating
Pulse: Submerged, frail at chi position
Clinical applications:
1. Used for threatened miscarriage or a history of miscarriage to calm the fetus.
2. Prevent problems during pregnancy in women with KD qi xu who have suffered miscarriage in the past.
3. Used for threatened miscarriage, infertility and hypertension.
Modifications:
Severe qi xu = Ren Shen
C/C:
Threatened miscarriage due to heat or stagnation.
