- Fish farms are large enclosures or tanks designed to provide a controlled environment for the growth of fish for human consumption. Using fish farms allows wild fish stocks to recover

What are some sustainable fisheries practicies?
A
- Increasing size of fishing nets: allows selective capture of adult fish and allows young fish to escape. This means that young fish can survive and maintain fish populations
- Fishing quotas: setting limits on the amount of fish that can be caught to maintain a balanced ecosystem
