- Can increase bleeding risk

Boost immune system
May lower blood sugar
What is Ephedra?
- Sympathomimetic: contains ephedrine
- Used for anorexia and as a stimulant
*FDA requires removal from most OTC products, although still will occasionally be seen in herbal preparations.
