Audition
To audition (as one approach to adding clips to a project):
- In the Browser, select the clips
- Control-click any of the selected clips
- From the shortcut menu, choose ______ ________ (Control-Y) to create an audition clip

The audition clip appears in the Browser. It is identified by the “spotlight” icon in the upper-left of its thumbnail. This audition clip will serve as an __-____ browser of the aerial clips.

You may use a storylined audition clip without causing a ripple edit sync panic. The “____ ____ _________” command gets the clip out of the storyline as a connected clip, leaving a gap. Lift From Storyline
A connected clip or storyline defaults to a connection point at the start point of the clip/storyline.
