Horizontal group
Medial nodules drain anterior abdominal wall and lower half of anal canal.
Lateral nodes drain posterior abdominal wall

Thickened laterally to form the Iliotibial tract.
Crural fascia supports femur on tibia when standing.

Cribriform fascia. Great saphenous vein drains to femoral vein.
