What are the characteristics of a kibbutz?
-Children are raised by multiple caregivers, collective rearing
-Traditional family structure
-Maintains an agricultural focus
-They all live sleep, play and do school together
-The reasoning behind this is that if children are raised by their biological parents they may find it difficult to develop social skills
-Children are dependent on their peers, not their biological parents
What are some characteristics of a Nayar?
-Girls are wed before puberty

-Men are only used for sperm donation

-Women do not meet their husbands until their weddings
-Divorce is very rare

Lone parents with dependent children, mostly common after divorce or separation (maybe after death,unwillingness to marry or cohabit)

Two generations; of parents and children living in the same household
