How a cervical restriction can lead to a change in weight bearing

A

Cervical restriction that interferes with left lateral bend will cause horse to land harder on the left front when turning left. With inability to bend left horse will carry head to outside in extension and tilts the dorsal spinous processes to the inside of the bend and place more weight on left front.
