- Several factors that are attributable to this situation

+ people have become wealthier than before < individuals no longer appreciate food
+ Another reason is that the food industry has been developing fast
+ cheap < don’t need to preserve the food they haven’t eaten for letter use.
+ Government > campaigns to raise public awareness
+ changing public attitudes to food consumption
+ food company should focus on quality not quantity
Conclusion:
- People throw food away after meals because of several reasons, which requires the government to take action to tackle the problem
