System within the topographical system of the mind which communicates through dreams and parapraxes

System within the topographical system of the mind which acts as an interface between the conscious and unconscious levels

Jung’s term for the ultimate goal of life, being for someone to develop a self of self-identity

Maintained by the preconscious system, the barrier which censors unacceptable wishes and desires
