pathogenesis
A
areas of trauma like insect bites but actual etiology is unknown

Clinical signs
A
firm, dome shaped papules hyperpigmented. 1cm-2cm. deep and attached to subcutaneous tissue. “Dimple sign” pinch and it makes a dimple in the center

dermatopathology
A
spindle shaped fibroblasts, increased small blood vessels

Treatment
A
reassure, bx can be considered. excision for cosmetic reasons but scar is worse than the original lesion
