the sheath containing the extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus tendons is inflamed.

Clinical features of de Quervains
A
- pain on radial side of the wrist
- tender over radial styloid process
- abduction of the thumb against resistance is painful
- positive Finkelstein’s test

A
analgesia
