nausea (dose related) vomiting dizziness HA stomach pain
Dextromethorphan/codeine MOA
acts on the cough center in the medulla
Dextromethorphan should generally not be used with what type of drugs?
MAO inhibitors w/in the past 14 days
serotonergic drugs; risk of serotonin syndrome

120 mg/day for adults
6-12 yrs: 60 mg
4-6: 30 mg
