Provide general guidance on how to comply with the building regulations through practical examples.

Why is the RIBA Plan of Work relevant?
It provides a gateway system for the preparation of design that can be measured for programmes, consultant appointments and deliverables and to inform procurement strategies for projects.

Their client duties are normally transferred to a contractor or principal designer.

This involves designing out risk but also ENSURING OTHER DESIGNERS COMPLY WITH THEIR DUTIES.

Plan, manage and monitor construction work under their control so it is carried out without risks to health and safety.
