Flomax (Tamsulosin)
0.4mg at bedtime (qhs), max dose 0.8mg daily, used to help relax the prostate and help improve urine flow in patients with BPH
Rapaflo
8mg daily, use to treat BPH
Finasteride, Proscar, Avodart
(all the same, just different names)-5mg daily, helps shrink the prostate, used to treat BPH, decreases PSA by half.
Alfuzosin, Uroxatral
10mg daily to treat BPH
Myrbetriq (Mirabegron)
25mg or 50mg used to treat overactive bladder (OAB) beta-3-agonist, not an anticholinergic
Vesicare
5mg or 10mg, anticholinergic used to treat OAB
Toviaz
4mg or 8mg, anticholinergic used to treat OAB
Trospium chloride
20mg twice daily (bid) or 60mg once daily, anticholinergic used to treat OAB
Detrol LA (Tolterodine)
2mg or 4mg, anticholinergic used to treat OAB
Oxybutynin (Ditropan)
5mg, 10mg, or 15mg, anticholinergic used to treat OAB
DDAVP (Desmopressin acetate)
used to treat nocturia or nocturnal enuresis
Noctiva
DDAVP nasal spray 1 spray in 1 nostril at night to help with nocturia, need to check BMP because it can alter sodium levels and cause lower extremity edema
Testosterone cypionate
200mg/1cc, usually used every other week but can be titrated up or down as needed.
Testopel
testosterone pellets placed into the fatty tissue on the hip/butt, repeated every 3-4 months with testosterone labs prior

100mg twice daily (BID)–antibiotic

Bactrim DS
trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole 160mg/800mg
Trimethoprim
100mg, sometimes used 2-3 times per week for UTI prophyslaxis
