When should the after takeoff checklist be accomplished?
As soon as possible after the slats/flaps are at zero and the PM calls “Flaps zero”
When is TCAS required to be displayed?
Continuosly
When a TCAS “TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC” aural warning is generated what shall the PF do?
Place hands on the control column/thrust levers and visually search for traffic
Whan a TCAS “TRAFFIC, TRAFFIC” aural warning is generated what shall the PM do?
Turn on all external lights and refer to TCAS and state relative position and also visually scan for traffic.
What will the PF do in response to an RA?
Disconnect the autopilot/throttle, pitch for the FLY to (green retangle) or away from the AVOID ZONE ( RED Trapezoid) and adjust thrust as required.
What are the two situations where the aircraft performance may not be sufficicient to follow an RA command without flying into the stall warning or buffet?
Bank angle in excess of 15* Engine inoperative, etc.
What is the primary emphasis in recovering from a stall?
Reduce angle of attack (nose down)
