A

The congress gave all the tax money to the bank in return the bank gave them paper money shock they could use to make loans. This bank encouraged economy growth.

A

Since a tax on foreign goods was supposed to protect American industry from competition it was called a protective tariff.

Whiskey rebellion

A

Many farmers were upset with the whiskey tax, they marched through Pittsburg and sang revolutionary songs and tarred and feathered tax officials. Was a test of strength for the government. Washington showed the people that violence and rebellions would not be tolerated.
