Cells on a cellular level, such as nucleas and mitochondria

The study of tissues and cells under a microscope

Anything that occupies space and has mass

Bones, cartilages, ligaments, and joints

- protect vital organs
- supports body
- movement with nerves and muscles
- blood cell production (RBC, WBC, & platelets)
- store minerals (Ca^2+) and fat
What parts of anatomy are in the muscular system?
Muscles and tendons
What parts of physiology are apart of the muscular system?
- movement with bones and nerves
- posture ( muscles in back contracting when standing)
- heat production
What are the two types of heat production?
