What is posterior cavity?
Cranial cavity (brain) and vertebral canal cavity
What is ventral cavity?
Thoracic cavity, diaphram, abdominopelvic cavity, abdominal cavity, and pelvic cavity
What is the thoracic cavity
Mediastinum, pleural cavity, pericardinal cavity, and diaphragm
What is the abdominal cavity?
Abdominal cavity and pelvic cavity
What are the 4 F’s?
Female, forty’s, fertile, fat
How many layers are in the lung and heart?
2 layers
How many layers are in the pericardium
3 layers
What are two layers in the pleural cavity (lung)?
- visceral pleura
- Parietal pleura
What membrane is associated with the abdominopelvic cavity?
- peritoneum
Where are the mesenteries found between the body?
Between organs and abdominopelvic wall
- mesenteries are only found abdominopelvic cavity ONLY!!!
