   - determining the successful bid or proposal
   - awarding and preparing contracts for construction

1. Bidding Documents shall consist of bidding requirements and proposed Contract Documents
2. The Architect shall assist the Owner in bidding the Project by:
   - Distributing Bidding Documents to prospective bidders, maintaining a log of distribution
   - Organizing and conducting a pre-bid conference for bidders
   - Preparing responses to questions from bidders, issuing addenda
   - Organizing and conducting opening of the bids and distributing the bid results
   - The Architect shall consider requests for substitutions if permitted by the Bidding Documents
