values act as one of the building blocks of organizational culture, giving a consistent reference point, even in times of change.

If the leaders have good practices and behaviours then it is a lot ore likely for the employees to follow as they are seen as a kind of role model

- it will become a nicer working environment for all there
- employees turn over will be less
- employees will be more motivated to work harder

- employees will do the bare minimum
- employees become unhappy
- labour turnover is increased
State what is meant by workforce planning
The process used to plan the number and quality of employees that will be required, both in the short and long term

It means that there is mix between Experience and learners with new ideas. They can teach each other to an extent
Outline two reasons that a business such as marks and Spencer’s might have to change its workforce plan
- if a dramatic event like COVID was to happen again
- if they needed to cut costs due to a new rival.
Explain two reasons why having the right number of employees can be crucial for a business
If there are too many employees then they may just not really do anything, this will lead to them being demotivated as they could feel useless, and then will also cost the business more for the same work

- employees may not like the change as they are resistant to change.
- if they are reducing staff they may get a problem due to redundancy’s and contracts
