Fibroadenoma
A
Small, mobile, firm masss with sharp edge
Most common <35 yrs
Increase in size and tenderness with estrogen
NOT a precursor to breast cancer

Intraductal papilloma
A
Small, grows in lactiferous duct,
Typically beneath areola
Serous or bloody discharge;
Slight (1.5-2x) increase in risk for carcinoma

Phyllodes tumor
A
Large bulky mass of connective tissue and cysts
Leaf-like projections.
Most common in 6th decades.
Some may become malignant.
