  • Inhibits the action of acetylcholine at post-ganglionic parasympathetic neuro-effector sites
  • Increases heart rate in symptomatic bradydysrhytmias

A

DOSE AND ADMINISTRATION
* ADULT
Bradycardia 0.5 mg IV every 3-5 minute as needed not to exceed total dose of 0.04 mg/kg (maximum of 3 mg total)
* PEDI
Bradycardia 0.02 mg/kg IV/IO ( minimum dose of 0.1)
