- Fevers, ST, msl aches, cervical lymph node enlargement, rash, HA, photophobia.
- Normal CD4 T cell count

Latent stage
A
- may be asx
- minor opportunistic infections possible
- persistent generalized lymphadenopathy
- virus dormant
- normal CD4 T cell count

Crisis stage
A
- persistent fever, fatigue, weight loss, and diarrhea.
- onset of opportunistic infections, cancers, and neurologic diseases.
- CD4 T cell count < 500cells

What is Kaposi Sarcoma?
A
malignant vascular lesions of the skin, MM, and viscera. Purplish lesions that vary in size, shape, and presentation. Lymphedema and disfigurement.

A
