A

Emergency lights relay changed power source for ARCDU 1 from L ess to the battery bus.
Battery bus then supplied 28V DC power to pilots audio card, PA amplifier, FA handset and ARCDU 1

A

There has been a communication problem between ARCDU and remote control audio unit. The ARCDU will switch to preprogrammed config

ARCDU automatic reconfiguration what can and can’t you do?

A

Audio is connected to the onside VHF COMM & VHF NAV only (at a fixed and loud volume)
Transmission outside the aircraft is not possible
Interphone is available (at loud volume), ‘CALL’ and ‘PA’ not available
Handset, boom and mask to INT only,
The AUX phone plug can be utilised to listen to audio from the cross-side ARCDU, and
ADSB still available with ALT 2/ATC 2 fail.

Remote control audio unit (RCAU) failure the emergency mode can be selected which results in?

A

The headset and microphones are connected directly to the onside VHF (i.e. can receive and transmit on the onside VHF only),
Only the INT audio is available (and PACIS available),
The audio level is fixed for the applicable VHF and INT, and
A red EMER message is displayed on the third line of the INT area.
