Each population is a group of individuals of the same species found in an area.
What happens if two organisms have the same niche?
The same food source, the same time of feeding, the same shelter site etc. they will compete with each other.
When can two species share the same habitat?
Two species are able to share the same habitat only if they occupy different niches.
What determines which species occur in a habitat?
A particular species lives in a particular habitat because it is adapted, and is able to survive and reproduce.
