pariññeyye
“to be fully understood”; a future passive participle of parijānāti, used as an adjective describing dhamme; hence it is a plural accusative in agreement with dhamme. Just below it occurs as singular nominative in agreement with dhammo.
dhamme
here in the general sense of “things”; a masculine plural in the accusative case, as object of desessāmi. On the multiple meanings of dhamma, see Glossary.
desessāmi
“will teach”; the first-person singular future of deseti.
pariññaṃ
pariññaṃ: “full understanding”; a feminine singular in the accusative case. In the suttas pariññā is considered an achievement of the arahant, though the commentaries explain pariññā as already beginning at the stage of deep insight.
suṇātha
“listen”; as addressed to the monks, a second-person plural imperative.
saṅkhārā pariññeyyo dhammo
Although saṅkhārā is a masculine plural, pariññeyyo dhammo is singular, perhaps for consistency with the parallel clauses.
ime vuccanti, bhikkhave, pariññeyyā dhammā
“these are called, monks, things to be fully understood.” The pronoun ime is plural masculine nominative agreeing with dhammā.
rāgakkhayo, etc.
“the destruction of lust,” etc. These are genitive tappurisa compounds, each in the masculine singular nominative.
