When blood stops flowing to the brain

An abnormal electrical activity in the brain

When a person feels weak, faint, or dizzy because of blood loss
Shock
Material used to protect or cover an injured body part
Bandage
Carries messages between the brain and the body
Spinal cord
Injuries that can be caused by contact with heat, chemicals or electricity
Burns
Found on animals in wooded areas, some carry disease
Ticks
Painful muscle spasms, most often in the calves, arms, stomach, and back
Heat cramps
A serious condition that often turns to heat stroke caused by exercising in heat
Heat exhaustion
Very serious condition, life threatening
Heat stroke
Occurs when body temperature falls, can cause death
Hypothermia
Anything someone swallows, breathes, gets in the eyes, or on skin that causes sickness or death

Pushing on the chest and giving breaths
