What is the definition of pluripotent cells?
Cells that can be grown into any kind of tissue.
What is the definition of induced pluripotent?
Regular cells changed by scientists to become emryonic (pluripotent).
What does the cell look like in metaphase?
chromosomes are lined up in the middle of the cell with the spinal chords connected.
What happens in prophase?
The cell’s nucleus disolves and spinal chords start to form and the chromosomes connect with sister chromatids.
What needs to happen for cells to become different types of specialized cells?
Cells need to make different types/amount of protein.
