In Sahih Muslim Abdullah bin Zubair narrates that the holy Prophet would recite zikr in a loud voice.
In another authentic Hadith, Hazrat Ibn Abbas said that after finishing Salah, reciting zikr in a loud voice was common in the time of the prophet.

What cautions should one keep in mind whilst reciting zikr loudly.

The ones who are sleeping should not be disturbed. The ones praying or reciting Quran should not be distracted.
