How is it to make shrines and graves?
A
There are no restrictions in making shrines over graves of Prophets, Sheikhs, Ullamah and Chosen people. In the Quran, it says “only those who uphold the mosques of Allah who believe in Allah”.

Is making shrines only done in Pakistan and India?
A
No. The green dome is proof of this.

Can you make a hard grave?
A
It is disliked to make a hard grave on the inside but it can be hard on the outside.

As a sign of recognition, can a headstone or stone be put on the grave?
A
Yes. Abu Dawood narrates when the Holy Prophet buried Hazrat Uthman bin Mazoon he placed a stone on the head stone and said, “ I will recognise my brother through this stone”.
