Additional details under follow-up. This can be useful if I want to notify the front desk that the patient should be scheduling a follow-up visit before leaving the clinic today.

Where can you send a whole encounter to a provider? When would you do this?

A

Wrap up tab: Send Upon Closing Workspace section.
Entering a provider’s info into the Send Upon Closing
Workspace routing field will send the encounter information whenever the workspace is closed. It is best to wait until your documentation is finished to complete this field.

If there are outstanding tasks after signing the visit, what will happen?

A

The system will perform a final check to ensure that all required documentation is complete. You will get a warning. Click on the hyperlink to go to the section that needs to be completed. Sign visit again.

When does the blue flag appear?

A

the blue flag appears automatically when certain orders are entered or released. Completing the administration does not automatically remove the flag, it must be manually removed so that other nurses know that the task is complete.
