When do you change the order provider for cosign?
If the order was given by a provider other than the encounter provider, like in the case of a nurse only encounter, you can change the authorizing provider.

What does Discrete Data mean?
What that means is that it is not free text like a note – but each cell that is answered has a pre-determined set of answers, which allows for reporting.
If the vitals flowsheet tab is not available what do you do?
Click on the Wrench icon located on the far right. By using the Wrench, you can add the new Flow Sheet to your workspace so you will not have to search for it the next time you want to document an IV line.
Click the Wrench icon now.
Click the Override checkbox.
Search for vitals in the template field.
Highlight Encounter Vitals and Accept.
Any vitals that you document in the Visit Navigator will also appear on this Flow Sheet. To document a line, you will be adding it to the bottom portion of the Encounter Vitals tab.

What does add column mean in a flowsheet?
Will add a column with the current date and time (NOW)
What does add column mean in a flowsheet?
Will allow you to indicate a time for the column you are adding.
If you get distracted when filling out a flow sheet and jump to another activity and then go back to flow sheets, what icon will help you to return back to where you left off on the flow sheet?
The Book icon – or the ‘button’ labeled ‘Jump to where I left off’. Click on the book now. It takes you back to the LAST cell you were documenting in – the Interventions cell.
How do you save entries in flow sheet?
click the FILE button in the toolbar OR when you leave the Flow Sheet your documentation will automatically be saved
