For billing purposes. Once selected, the indications will remain until they are manually removed, so you will not need to add them for each visit. Indications that are linked to the episode will become visit diagnoses for any linked visits.

actual lab result should be sent for scanning. On the fax coversheet you will mark this as STAT. The anti-coag scanning fax number can be obtained from your clinical site. Within an hour, the labwill be scanned into Epic and you will see the result in the Anticoagulation Tracking. At AAH we do not manually enter external INR results, except home finger stick testing.

Yes. They may send the nurse a result note InBasket message with instructions for dosing and repeat INR.

Click the more dropdown and select Review Flowsheets. In the search field type“ AMB ANT” and hit enter. This opens the Anticoagulation Trend flowsheet and allows us to see historical INR data
